If only a tiny portion of the drain or pipe requires repair, a patch repair is a very affordable substitute for drain relining. The procedure is comparable to relining a pipe, but the balloon technique is stronger and considerably faster, and a patch repair is only 500 to 1000 mm long. An inflatable tube is tightly wrapped around a structural liner that has been coated in resin. After that, the tube is inserted into the pipe that covers the damaged portion in its correct position. While the resin hardens, the tube is then inflated to the pipe’s shape for around 30 to 60 minutes. The patch repair is then perfectly fixed against the pipe wall once the tube is deflated and drawn back out of the pipe. Lastly, a CCTV survey is conducted to confirm that the patch repair was completed.
